So, you've got that beach day coming up, and you want to rock that bikini with confidence? No problem! Here are some top tips to help you feel amazing in your swimwear.

1. What's the Sweat Sesh?

First things first, get moving! Whether you're into yoga, dancing, or lifting weights, find a workout that makes you feel strong and proud of your body. Remember, confidence is the best accessory!

Don’t get caught up in beach body hype. If have a body - you’ve got a beach body! What we want to focus on is building confidence, and when you’re active and using those muscles, you’re going to feel better both on and off the beach.

2. Say No to Poo Belly

We’ve all experienced it! Avoid the dreaded poo belly by staying hydrated, eating enough fibre, and keeping things moving (if you catch our drift). A few tips we have:

  1. Work those core muscles. If things aren’t moving along and you’re feeling not so cute, try an ab circuit plus some cardio. This can kick-start things for you.
  2. Still not seeing results, even though you’re properly hydrated, getting fibre, and moving your body? Our go-to is to eat a few dates or dried apricots, plus a glass of water. It’s tasty and gets the job done.
  3. If this is a regular occurrence for you, it could be worth investing in a squatty potty. Sexy? No, but it gets results.
  4. Watch out for dietary irritants that can cause bloating and discomfort. We’re the first to indulge in diary when we know it’s not a friend to our tummy. But when we know we’re hitting the beach and want to feel our most confident? We generally choose a non-dairy option.

3. Sunscreen: Your BFF

Don't let those UV rays ruin your day. Slather on that sunscreen to avoid burns and keep your skin happy and healthy. A sunburn is never a good look! Plus, having one perfect day at a resort, followed by several sunburnt, peeling, lobster glow days in the hotel room is never the way you want to spend your holiday.
